Product Introduction

Product Introduction:

Direct-to-Film (DTF) ink is at the forefront of a digital printing revolution, enabling creators and businesses to produce vibrant, durable, and complex designs on a vast array of fabrics with unprecedented ease. This innovative technology bridges the gap between versatility and quality, making it a top choice for custom apparel, promotional merchandise, and small-batch production. This comprehensive guide explores what DTF ink is, how it works, its key advantages, and why it represents a smart investment for the future of textile printing.

The DTF Printing Process: A Step-by-Step Overview

·         Step 1: Design & Print: The desired artwork is printed in mirror image onto a special DTF PET film using compatible DTF inks.

·         Step 2: Powder Application: While the ink on the film is still wet, a fine layer of hot-melt adhesive powder is evenly applied. It sticks only to the printed areas.

·         Step 3: Curing & Melting: The powdered film passes through a curing oven or tunnel. This melts the adhesive powder, bonding it with the ink to form a transferable, flexible film.

·         Step 4: Heat Press Transfer: The cured film is placed on the fabric and pressed with a heat press at a specific temperature and time. The heat reactivates the adhesive, permanently bonding the design to the fabric.

·         Step 5: Film Removal: After cooling slightly, the PET film is peeled away, leaving a soft, vibrant, and durable print on the garment.
